Sorcerer
"White Magic"

"White Magic" is the debut album from California native Daniel Judd, aka Sorcerer.

Influences on the Sorcerer sound include 80s electro-pop, disco, psychedelia, kraut-rock (Kraftwerk, Can etc.) and 70s style "smooth music" like Steely Dan, ELO and Fleetwood Mac.
Comparisons with current music could be made with Lindstrom, Metro Area, Mudd, Quiet Village (Whatever We Want Records) and many of the recent Eskimo 12" releases, as well as Tirk label-mates Fujiya & Miyagi.
Sorcerer's current 12" release for Tirk, "Surfing At Midnight" (featuring a remix from Prins Thomas) has received acclaim from the likes of Lindstrom, Bill Brewster (djhistory.com, Lowlife), IDJ magazine, Sean Rowley (Guilty Pleasures), Unabombers, Diesel (Xpress2), One Week To Live magazine
Daniel is a founding member of San Francisco pop group "Call And Response", whose releases on Emperor Norton have garnered comparisons to Stereolab amongst others.

All songs by Sorcerer, played and produced by Daniel Saxon Judd,
Mastered by Jay Burnett.
